I've been rereading some of the many threads about Jake in the wake of the latest update recently. Jake has been linked to Eridan on multiple occasions now but it was never really the main point of the thread. That's unfortunate because I NEED to read and talk about it more. (// ⌓` )
Because, you see, I don't even like calling her Jake, her name is Lara. Eridan has also been semi-confirmed transfem which means it's canon but the team/hussie is trying to tread lightly on this topic (understandable).
Anyway, the parallels between these two aren't a coincidence. If Ms. English is getting herself into the same volatile situationship fueled by hurt pride and jealousy as Eridan...then she can also be transfem like them. Maybe (hopefully!) she'll get to realize it before dying, even. Or we'll get a Larasprite... together with Junesprite...( // ‿◝ )♡
