i need help with deciding something!!

good evening to all of you once more!!

i am in, as it seems, a bit of a pickle.

my school is hosting some sort of performing arts showcase which will occur in the summer, which allows for music, dance, or any such showcase. my idea is to do some sort of stand up comedy act.

however, i am, in a basic summary, absolute fucking dogshit at performing in front of people, and performing in general.

my question to you all is; do i take the gambit? do i attempt to lean towards my comedic goals, or do i not due to my lack of the skills?

i must know quickly, as there seems to be a deadline for "in a few days" for me to ask the school board if i could, and the auditions are on April 13th!!
