Is this a weird take? I've been trying to put this feeling into words since I went into self-imposed exile from your twitters and discords and the like. I really like HSBC, the art's good there's some genuinely strong ideas going on the professionalism is just perfect, but uh... I dunno whenever I try to have specific thoughts about it I come up blank. It feels like there's just not that much to discuss? Or at least, not much to discuss in the space of things people are willing to discuss? Circular conversations over classpects or the transparent racial coding of Deltritus don't really appeal much to me, and the story's overall greater direction remains so opaque it's hard to say anything about long term developments. There's a few plot points that sound cool in the works (June) but those are on a time table of "it'll be out when it's out" so there's not much to do there exactly.
This isn't very post worthy but I've seen a lot of people annoyed at a perceived lack of Beyond Canon conversation so I wonder if this is a more common take than it seems at first glance
