Hello FRAFellows. In this topic, i will make a list with COMPLAINTS about MSPFA.
1. It uses file.garden
File.garden is broken 99% of the time, rendering me unable of reading fan adventures, translations and what not?
2. The translations are only there and aren't a mod for the UHC
It sucks because it would be so much easier if these translations were available on the UHC as a mod so i don't have to read it online and depend on internet and file.garden for it.
I thought of more reason but the only one that i have is that it's broken most of the time and uses file.garden

the website definitely needs some changes to function better, iirc there was an issue in either january 2025 or descember 2024 where file.garden was down and many mspfas were down? Something along those lines. I don't know much about web design or file hosting but Comicfury has it down.

it only 'uses' filegarden when people choose to host their images on filegarden, i think. mspfa doesnt host them itself?
my mspfa uses images hosted on my own site which isnt filegarden

Neither of these are actually problems with MSPFA itself. Nobody is required to use filegarden specifically, and MSPFA has no bearing on whether translators port their work to the UHC.
Frankly, we should have official or officialized translations by this point, but that's a different conversation.

MSPFA and File Garden may not be perfect, but frankly the work Grant has put in for both of them is p remarkable. It's all built off his largely unpaid webdev labor. The only reason most adventures have automatically had their images rehosted on and redirected to File Garden is because the original hosting sites like Photobucket have themselves since degraded and the creators of the adventure didn't manually rehost them elsewhere, meaning the File Garden rehosting is the only reason many of them are even available anymore in any capacity at all.
Some isps block filegarden, it might be worth going into the official fg discord to see if grant has a workaround
