Just had to leave a little thread here because I find godfearingUrsine's comics weirdly endearing?? like yes it's very clearly religious propaganda (aside from being a fun lil SBAHJ sendup) but like, as someone who grew up in a VERY religious household and had a bit of a godfearing streak myself, GU's penchant for trying to teach lessons and morals through it all really speaks to me!
As a tween I REALLY really wanted to start a comedy podcast that also imparted religious lessons and encouraged praise so his bit feels weirdly like coming home, in a fucked up and kinda funny way?? GU's clearly maybe a little too high on their hoofbeast but they've got the spirit which I think is cute in a way
To add something a bit more substantive than me going "hehe funny kobolds :)" to this thread tho, anybody notice that Horrorterrors appear to be more than just fiction in the overall world of Lairhold? Like they have their own distinct religious movement and heretical status assigned to them. The horrorterrors of the HS universe seemed more like, subtle in their presence in human culture and even then weren't really alluded to by name until the characters got out into the medium. Interesting stuff!
