Hi folks!
As some of you may know, I've been interested in tinkering with the FRAF forums ever since they were opened, looking for various bugs to report and creating tweaks for the site's interface using custom CSS. Recently though, armed with the experience of making several doodads on MSPFA (go check out my free ad network!), I've begun to take my endeavors on this forum to their natural conclusion - custom JavaScript for the forum in the form of userscripts. I don't doubt many here would find them useful, and I'm hoping that my fellow programmers may share their own scripts in this thread.
I'll start off with something small yet incredibly useful: https//file.garden/ZtBbq_PK_QLwMwoG/fraf/pagescrollfix.user.js (working link in replies because of an "unidentified error".)
This script will make it so that the next page button on the bottom of a thread will take you back to the top of the replies, meaning you don't have to scroll all the way back up yourself. Very handy!
I'm working on a larger site improvement script at the moment, if you've got any suggestions for that let me know.
If you've made userscripts of your own, drop them down below! I suppose custom CSS is also acceptable. ![]()
(Also, mods, could you somehow make it so I can edit this post an unlimited number of times? I'd like to have a list here of existing userscripts that I can add and remove from at will. If it isn't possible, it's fine, I'll just add a link to a text document.)
