The Davesprite and Dave Strider storyline is one of the arcs I hold dear to my heart.
Sadly with how Davesprite ended (I love Davepetasprite, don't get me wrong) I just feel as if it was a loose-end they needed to put together somehow and managed to not fix it.
It's like breaking a vase and trying to put it back with ducttape. It looks dumb.
But, I'm glad that they gave some more light to Davepetasprite in Beyond Canon.
Even though, I'll always miss Davesprite. Caw caw, motherfuckers.
My favorite arc is John and Karkat becoming friends but backwards. Genuinely brings a tear to my eye seeing them go from like mortal (lame) enemies to having John go "Oh my god! Karkat Buddy it's you!! Hi!!" and genuinely being excited when he finally gets to THE first time Karkat talks to him. Karkat is confused because the first time he ever spoke to John, moments before he saw the guy's whole life story and decided he hated him more than anything. But then by the end they're like best buds
It's heartwarming okay, I too liked seeing Karkat learn that strange human emotion called Friendship. I even liked that when Karkat said that, he was knowingly repeating John's words to him. The person who taught him that friendship WAS an emotion was John T_T
"F1X TH1S"/Retcon has always been my favorite part of the comic. I remember reading it for the first time and having so much fun putting in all the passwords and seeing all the shenanigans play out. I feel like it is such a powerful moment, especially after "Game Over". I know a lot of people have mixed feelings about this part and aren't huge fans of the direction it took, which I can understand. But, I find myself rereading that part more often than others when I get the Homestuck itch. (I'm definitely not biased because I love Terezi so much)

As someone who used to like hate vriska before recently, boy it is insane how much the Vriska being in the hyperbolic hell therapy session arc like made me like her so much! She just needed help was all. OH AND NOT TO MENTION HELLTIER BEING A THING IS SO COOL.... SHES SO DAMN COOL.. even if i thought the term helltier was dumb at first... {Pictured Below: My initial reaction on bluesky when James Roach said it was called helltier}

Was actually a huge fan of the teenage drama factory of ACT 6. The relationships between the alpha kids were very interesting to witness unfold and everyone felt like they had a beating heart. Even on initial read I couldn't help but think "Damn, all of these characters feel like real people. Scary." And seeing how all of them are in different states of "How the hell did we get here?" now is so heartrending. Life changes people and sometimes it ain't in a good way.

Of OG Homestuck? Honestly I love the convos on the lilypad. And my fav overall scene is probs the convo between Dirk and Dave right near the end.
Recently, I think the Vrisual Novel was pretty peak.
the dirk shenanigans in the epilogues, bc dirk is best boy, but also john's candy arc of realising that other people ARE actually real hit HARD
in terms of og homestuck, hmm... i read it so quickly that it's hard to remember how i felt about it... maybe the jack noir stuff, especially when he got merged with bec?
