I use SpaceBattles a bit because I enjoy the quests.

for a while i was active on the cbr community forum! it's a nice place to talk about comics... i think. i'm realizing now that the only places i've talked online about comics are 4chan and cbr. the former was so awful i quit cold-turkey after two weeks, so i guess what i'm saying is: cbr is the bestest place to talk about comics on the internet. OFFICIAL DECREE.

for the few days it was up when i found out about it i was on meizen and it was awesome, sadly it seems that shit is dead forever cuz i've been following the knockout forum post for it and there's been radio silence for 6 months.

I browse Something Awful a lot. It’s definitely past its prime but it’s got 25 years of archived topics to look back through. It’s refreshing to browse a site that has discussion that isn’t inundated with bad faith and bots. Looking forward to see how this one grows :D

yellowtealpurple is pretty cool, haven't been active there in ages though

i spent my formative years on the internet on the Terraria community forums. my account is still there, slowly rotting, but i pop over and check on it if they put out any previews :3

unfortunately the Neoboards are the only ones I've had experience with.

starmen.net is still good, most of my forum usage is on a private forum i run for an incredibly niche series though.

I check in on the rpgmakerweb forum now and then and rummage around for more plugins to put in the pile

tamatalk, one of my oldest haunts, is still around though largely quiet as a lot of the community shifted elsewhere... the irc chat for that forum was how I first heard of homestuck lol sadly my other old haunt went away and had a semi-revival but not really but that was AXA/AnimalCrossingAhead

In terms of forums I'm actually active on they tend to be tied to web games like gaiaonline, dappervolk, and flight rising.

Oh and I guess shout out to WithTheWill I don't have an account but its THE place for digimon news so I do a lil lurk

if anyone knows a good alternative to VirtualPetList let me know. TheGamingList seemed solid for a bit but seems to have been abandoned :'c

last forum i use to be super active on was pdb til they made that crappy app and started monetizing everything with a bunch of useless gimmicks. it's sad how far it's fallen off

i like browing really old topics for games I like on GameFAQS, its super interesting to see what ppl thought abt games I like before i was born lol
