gonna go with an unorthodox pick: i LOVE ripple, it fits the atmosphere of the gerson statue battle so well. It's possibly the most OFF-sounding track toby has ever made (even more than his actual OFF tracks, somehow)

I think my favorites are inbetween Dark Santuary or Second Santuary. Those tracks in particular really hammered home the tone shift in this chapter, how the stakes were so much higher and closer than ever. I'll never forget the actual chills that ran through me when I heard them both for the first time, how such beautiful tracks still had this sense of growing urgency. God, I'm obsessed.
Vapor Buster is also fantastic, made me laugh so hard.

There's just something that's so jovial and freeing about this particular piece. Paired with the fact that it's one of the pieces that Kris gets to play in one of the few moments of freedom that they get just hurts my heart.

Neverending Night hands down for me. The little snippet of it that played upon starting Chapter 4 for the first time immediately got me to lock in.
ch3+4 have SO dang many new favorites for me, many of which already stated, but i think i have to extend a vote towards TV world and especially Dark Sanctuary. seriously, the latter has SUCH an amazingly ethereal feeling, i adore all of the church world tracks

There are a lot of supreme songs in this game just in these four chapters, but I want to single out Black Knife in particular. I made the mistake of going through the game's music folder before properly playing Chapter 3+4. When I saw the filename of this song, I was all "no no no no no no no" and was afraid to listen to it at first. Eventually, curiosity got the better of me... and it ended up on repeat for hours. It is far and away my favorite tobyfox song. Did he really record this all the way back in 2018? I fear for the future.

my favorite deltarune song is probably either black knife as mentioned above or guardian.. theyre both such good songs.. fitting for such hard bosses.
Neverending Night is my favorite. It's nice to finally have a song associated with Gaster that isn't either creepy or miserable, even though his leitmotif is absent. I like when he talks to us.
Crumbling Tower deserves an honorable mention for being an excellent piece of tower climbing music.
