Bomb the Music Industry! - Vacation
released in 2011
43 mins - 13 songs - indie/punk rock

this quite honestly one of my favorite albums ever. no other album feels quite as cohesive as this one while still managing to have such insane variety in their tracks. i actually found this album (and subsequently, the rest of BtMI! and Jeff Rosenstock in general) from a rhythm game called Pulsus through a chart using the song Everybody That You Love, and it has just stuck with me since then. the intro (Campaign For A Better Next Weekend) and outro (Felt Just Like Vacation) are just absolutely PERFECT for the slots they're in when it can feel like a bunch of other albums have like 5 different songs that could open them up or close them out. in general every song feels like it was placed in the absolutely perfect spot on the tracklist and it makes the experience so much better.

personal favorites: all of them lowkey and I could write a billion words on each song and why they're awesome but more recently i've been listening a lot to Everybody That Loves You (misspelled on spotify Lol) and i absolutely love the main guitar, jeff's vocals, just such a good song man it's unreal

"Return To The Sea" by Islands has been my favorite album for a really really long time. second is "Who Will Cut Our Hair When We're Gone?" by The Unicorns. strongly recommend if youre into weird amateurish synths and classic halloween monsters

The reckoning can't wipe this place out soon enough.

I'm big into folk rock so The Crane Wives' new album Beyond Beyond Beyond was soooo my shit. I think enough time has passed that I can say it's my fav album without worrying about recency bias

For starters, MCR's Bullets album, that shit is PEAK, I started to get more into the Danger Days as well, never bother with it much but after seeing them Live (Hearing DESTROYA for the first time lol) I really fucked with it.

I really love Sweet Trip's You Will Never Know Why

Boxcar Racer's one album

Blink 182's untitled album

RWBY's soundtracks really tickle my ears

Sorry for this but Sewerslvt Presents: Cynthon, its good to me

IFA Wartburg's Im Dienste des Sozialismus, is a BANGER

Those are some things on the top of my head i can think of

A picture of strawberries in a bowl, sitting in a pool of (presumably) food coloring.

animal collective's strawberry jam or this one obscure homestuck album by james dever. the latter's free on bandcamp too, you can download it if you want.

Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge by MCR :33. I especially loved the rerelease for the 20th anniversary and it sounds so good and I can never get enough of it. Love how it’s a story/concept album as well like American Idiot by Green Day or Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd. If you haven’t listened to it, I highly recommend. Album cover for TCfSR by MCR
