I have become genuinely convinced that Jockington being FRIEND or in some way connected to the Tail of Hell is entirely possible. I don't think it would be narratively satisfying and I don't know why Toby would write it that way but it's hard to ignore so many connections. That being said, I'm so hyped for Chapter 5 and I really hope we get more Asgore and (maybe) some characterization of the six (seven?) human souls from UNDERTALE in some way. I just think it'd be neat.

anyone else find it suspicious that toby fox said there would be no homestuck music in deltarune yet he refrences nearly every other thing hes worked on in the ost

In my mind, he mostly is going to avoid Homestuck music in Deltarune primarily because almost all of his Homestuck music uses leitmotifs and samples of other musicians works (rather heavily at times) and he might feel weird about including the works of others in Deltarune. That's just my guess though, I don't really know.

has anybody seen that video talking about how papyrus is literally ice-e??? theres NO way he's the knight, the knight is obviously a holiday. we HAVE seen papyrus, he's in the ice-e costume committing to the bit

@fffan2008 (does @ing work in this? i don't know, i've only used one type of forum :/) toby fox is most likely trying to disconnect from homestuck simply because the whole making music for hussie thing was shady as shit, it's reasonable to not wanna be associated with it anymore and to fully move on from it. another good reason is probably that yeah all the leitmotifs and stuff were so intermingled with other artists it really was a collaboration, and it would probably be weird to reuse that without the other creators. water under the bridge type stuff i assume. i find the penumbra phantasm stuff a little funny, but i truly don't think/don't want it to appear in Deltarune since that's his OWN passion project ykno:)

I've been a fan of Deltarune, I think since Chapter 1 was out? I wasn't really on Twitter or Bluesky (more recently), but I have seen how the whole ██████ takeover of the accounts get people to react. Never seen them in real time, but they're always very nice to read over.

Also, the Spamton Sweepstakes ending stream? Stars, I fucking love that thing, the whole feeling of it is so palpable. It was very interesting to watch pre-Chapter 3, but I haven't watched it after the fact yet. ://

im OBSESSED with tenna right now, although jevil will always be my number 1. after getting the jevilstail in ch1 i hacked in the devilsknife just because of tasque managers comment on it- i dont want to miss ANY jevil secrets so im trying to play as much as possible with BOTH items in my inventory >:)
