deltarune is a good game but the fandom is honestly terrible

i really like the game deltarune, but the fans have glaring issues. the first one is they think toby fox is an infallible god who cant do anything wrong. for example, when fans from latin america were wanting a spanish translation, instead of handling the debate, they just boiled it down to a "tantrum" or "fake controversy" because they can just use a fan translation and toby fox doesnt have to accommodate for fans, which i guess would make sense if they were asking for some random language, but the 4th largest language on the planet that encompasses most of latin america and a significant portion of the u.s, i think its a pretty valid complaint. now, i actually get why toby wouldnt be able to do a translation, he doesn't know spanish, and hes busy with deltarune. now the reason i think fan translation is questionable ties into my 2nd complaint, which is that deltarune fans are biased towards the most popular theory, and if anyone disagrees theyre dumb. the biggest example is the knight. just because dess knight is the most popular theory, people basically treat it as canon, to the point where in discussions people won't even bring up that its just a theory and immediately refer to the knight as dess. and to anyone who thinks its basically confirmed that dess is the knight, remember all those theories people had locked in after chapter 2? like chess theory? alvin knight? kris does genocides?. to end it, this is more of a pet peeve, but they always call the doctor motif "penumbra phantasm" just because tony fox made one of them.
