First off, I think that the shadow crystals show the prophecy. Whenever you use the shadow crystals in the dark world (with a few exceptions) they show the area in the light world where the dark world is. However in chapter 3 it specifically says “You thought you saw the television get smashed to pieces.” This is strange because in the pacifist route Tena does not die. However the prophecy shows “the lord of screens, cleaved red by blade.” Even if Tena survives, the prophecy says he was supposed to be. The reason Spampton and jevil went insane is because they saw the prophecy and realized that the dark worlds were destined to be sealed, and they would stop existing. Spampton wanted to take a lightner’s soul because it would stop him from breaking sealed a at with the fountain. The reason in chapter 4 when you use a shadow crystals in front of a prophecy panel it says “The prophecy's text does not warp in the crystal's lens” is because it is literally showing the prophecy.” This brings up a weird question. What’s with all the the shadow crystals dialogue in the light world? Well I think I have an answer. It lies in the unused shadow crystals dialogue for chapter 3. brief moment... You thought you saw Undyne frozen in ice.” It’s literally just snow grave.” I think in the weird route when we get to the bunker we are going to have to kill undyne. But before I get to my main point, lents back up a little. In chapter 1, it says “You thought you saw through your hand.” This is because in the weird route in their attempts to stop us Kris will lose their hand, just like the main character of dragon blazers. Chapter 2 says “You thought you saw Susie glaring at you, coldly...” because once Susie finds out about the weird route she will hate the player and try to stop us from hurting Noel. Chapter 4 is very vague, saying “You thought you saw Noelle close against you, whispering.” Although I don’t know what this specific scene could mean, I do know that Noel whispering in the players ear sounds like something that could totally happen in a future creepy weird route scene. So what does this mean about the ending of deltarune? I think that the bunker gang is trying to cause the prophecy because in the end dess will be found love finds its way to the girl referring to the both the player (LOVE) and the holiday family (love) finding dess. However the fun gang will subvert the prophecy using Susie’s power of hope to prevent the final tragedy in the normal route. However the weird route is the player being frustrated that we didn’t find dess in the end and trying to force the game to end with us finding dess by any means necessary. The weird route represents completionism, whereas the normal route represents wanting a happy ending from the characters. But you may be thinking, what about castle town? If you use a shadow crystal in castle town it says “... but nothing happened.” This is because the final tragedy is the destruction of castle town. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.
Idk why I decided to post this here…
