HS Trivia #2
The black queen is always killed by Jack across all games (where we know who killed her).
In the beta kids' session we see it on [S]Jack: Ascend
In the Alternian session we see it on [S]Cascade
In Caliborn's session we see him explaining how it will happen on page 6193
And in the Alpha kids' session we see Calliope joke about the black queen being "jacked" on page 5083
The only one instance we don't know about who killed the black queen is the beforan session.
(This trivia was going to be the fifth one but I have decided to end up being the second as a response to Intermission, here it is one of many chess people trivia I have in my limitless trivia chamber!)
I think in the last one, Calliope is talking about the beta kids' session, but it doesn't rule out Jack killing the Black Queen.

You are totally right, in fact, the black queen in Alpha kids' session was killed by HIC, Aranea says so in page 6034

HS Trivia #2 corrected
The black queen is always killed by Jack except (maybe) for the alpha kids' session.
In the beta kids' session we see it on [S]Jack: Ascend

And in the Alpha kids' session Aranea mentions a thief (who later gets it stolen from a rogue) stole it from the black queen, this is clearly talking about HIC, so it's okay to assume she was the one who killed the black queen in this session. It doesn't discard the possibility Jack was the one who HIC paid for the job tho. Page 6034

A common misconception is that Kanaya imagines Rose as a troll while reading her playtrough, but this is false.
In page 2346, Kanaya acknowledges Rose is from an alien species, but then proceeds to assume her society is exactly like her own with some quirks.
She imagines Rose as what seems to look like a troll but with an unusual blood color, for her this is what an alien would look like; a troll with an unusual color.

So.... in the same way Star Trek depicts human-equivalent aliens as humans with weird ears or foreheads, Kanaya's imagination depicts a troll-equivalent alien as a troll with weird blood? Interesting indeed!

Didn't she attach photos of John in one of her entries? If she knew what John looked like then wouldn't she know they weren't basically just trolls?

I also wondered that in my last homestuck reread, my headcanon is that the server in the void only supports text, but the most likely thing is that hussie forgot and just wanted to make this joke
Since a gamefaqs document is itself just text and the images would have been presumably hosted elsewhere it's pretty plausible that Rose herself just put the text file on the server without thinking about it and broke the links lol
