brian wilson was incredible at so effortlessly writing such haunting melodies. i'll miss him forever. it's a popular pick but 'god only knows' never fails to atleast make me misty-eyed if i'm not just full-blown sobbing. he really pioneered pop as we've known it throughout history up to today.

I watched that movie where Paul Dano plays him, and John Cusack also plays him. Great movie. An easy recommendation for any Wilson heads out there.

and pet sounds is one of the best albums ever period
