Ok I'll start with my only example i have. when I first read homestuck at the wee little baby age of 16, I took the "Sisters" part of the "Scourge Sisters" team name literally for Vriska and Terezi, and I interpreted their relationship in the frame of two sisters struggling to get along. AND this doesnt help that Aranea straight up says
AG: And I am your friend's ancestor.
AG: In fact, I am yours too, in a way.
"yours too, in a way???" I took that very literally.
Anyways imagine 16 year old me's confusion as to why, i was literally the ONLY person who was a "Vriska and Terezi are actual bio sisters" believer. Even with the humanstuck aus, i didnt see anyone make them sisters. And yeah, this skewed my opinion of the Vrisrezi ship haha.
Now? Im neutral to the Vrisrezi ship π€·ββοΈ especially since it doesnt seem that the biological family angle I saw is going no where in the beyond canon material. lol.
anyways, does anyone here have any uncommon interpretations abt anything in the comic?
