i know they appear in act 2 but i can barely name 3 of them and i kinda erased them in my mind even tho i played the game twice. like uhh who is tigeri or whatever i like jude dammek joey and xefros...

Honestly I think you're kinda in the majority, it feels like a lot of people that joined or hopped back in after Friendsim was already out in full just do not care about it, can't really blame them but I enjoy it a lot.

They all get SO much more character development in Friendsim, to the point where it feels like Friendsim is the main game and Act 2 is the spin-off... Also, there's nearly 40 of them. A handful live rent-free in my head, but I'd have to look the others up to remember them.

Friendsim was made to tide people over while Act 2 was still under progress, right? and a lot of the friendsim trolls were just background filler characters who didn't have much other than a single line of dialogue or a jokey name before Friendsim was a Thing. There were a few routes that were specifically pointed out to be difficult to write because of this fact but I truthfully can not remember which ones. It also did kind of put devs in an awkward spot because now some people expected way way more than what was in the game, and what was in the game also changed over time (as game development does). So you guys not really remembering or caring about all of them is perfectly fine and normal because at one point you werent really supposed to, and thats why so much character development is in Friendsim. Because for some trolls there Was No Development until they made an entire bonus game around it.

friendsim exists so ppl didnt forget hiveswap was a thing in-between chapters one and two i like a lot of the friendsim cast but they are absolutely optional lmao
