Juno here! How's the summer treating y'all? Summers are always a nice time, filled with constants year after year. The bright sun, the cold ice cream and soda dripping down your chin, and of course, new Homeslice content. Well actually that wasn't always there but it is now. Jane's interview really was something special huh? The warm reception we've gotten after all this time has been awesome! We’ve been working hard day and night to bring this comic with new life and I think what we got next will have you will truly get you super excited. Dirk and Jake finally take the stage with our last interview for Homeslice, and we’ll be updating biweekly up until the first intermission. More on that later wink wink.
The DirkJake interview, by far, has been the update batch we’ve had the most hands in. While the Jane interview was handled by a lot of people for a big stretch of time pre and post hiatus, the DirkJake interview is the first fully original content made by the new team! We’ve spent hundreds of hours playing and toying around with ideas, and throwing things at the wall to see what sticks. We’re bringing you something that truly we’re very happy with and I hope that it sticks the most with you. From the entire process of making it, we’ve learned about our creative process and what works for us going forward. We’ll be able to disclose the details of where we're headed with everyone soon. The interview saga has been literal years in the making, and wrapping up feels so surreal yet amazing!
I’m glad to announce that we will have our next line of merch dropping soon! How soon? A couple months? Nah. A couple weeks? Nope. You can head over to the FRAF storefront to pick up a new Homeslice merch coming out today! We have tons of new things that the team has spent a lot of elbow grease coming up with that makes for a wicked batch. If none of these stick personally, keep a look out since the team is always innovating on more ways to bring these characters out in the best ways that you’ll enjoy. Lastly, Charitystuck huh. With it just a day out, I hope you'll be pleased to know that we will be in attendance! Charitystuck is an event put on by VOFT and Project Soundpage to raise money for Advocates of Trans Equality. During the charity stream, we will debuting a trailer for the final Homeslice interview! Ms. Paint will be in attendance as the Homeslice rep, be on the look out for her. Give the folks over at Charitystuck some love, and consider donating if possible. We’ve spent the last couple months like a busy family in a cramped kitchen getting ready for the best metaphorical thanksgiving dinner we could whip up, and I hope you'll be seated for the many updates to come.
