FIRST SUBMISSION!
Been getting into homestuck lately and aside from the recent... turbulence. I've been genuinely having a blast!!
All drama to the side it seems like now one of the best moments to get into homestuck after it's peak in the 2010's.
There are so many resources, games and fanworks even after almost a decade since the end of the comic, and the site finally coming back and working is wondeful news!
Even though i'm already on [A6A6I2] seeing that the site is being updated bit by bit is really cool and kind of simulate the sensation of waiting for updates during the original comic's release.
I just found out about these forums and i couldn't be happier, i know i'm late to the party and lost a lot of the "original experience", but just seeing the community being alive and thriving here makes me feel hopeful to have something similar!
I'm looking forward to meeting people here and making new friends so knock yourself out! Agree or disagree w/ me share your thoughts ask my thoughts on the story and characters, i just wanna yap!

And yeah I agree, it's a pretty great time to be a Homestuck fan! I've been a fan since 2019 and honestly I feel like the 2025 revival is a lot stronger than it felt in 2020.

We're very much undergoing a homestuck renaissance, with the rerelease underway, Beyond Canon hitting Act 2, the animated pilot on the horizon, it has probably never been a more exciting time for the community (save for its original run back in the 2010s, lol)
Its not quite the same as it was back then but I think you've chosen the perfect time to actually recpature a lot of the magic that the experience had!
dude, reading through the shit in the newgen channels on the homestuck discord is so interesting like
i was similarly excited during the hiveswap friendsim days, although it was building up to hiveswap act 2 that was subpar and cut a lot of content. the ride itself was the peak of my engagement with the fandom at the time, especially when the epilogues dropped and i started really making art.
the epilogues were poorly received and I felt alone in the community as a result, so now that time has passed and people are willing to engage again, it's been fun getting back into this officially mandated re-read. this is as close to the original experience than we can ever get, so I'm taking time to enjoy it as much as possible with my irl friends.
It all makes me wanna make some homestuck art again !

@metarij i really need to do some homestuck art and post it here the comic is giving me so many ideas i kinda wanna draw posters for each ACT/Intermission
