i don't have a new build quite yet, but i have done some work on the project since yesterday, so here are some updates.

i spent a lot of time trying to replace the tab headers "homestuck2-[placeholder]" to "beyondcanon-[placeholder]" the problem with this is that unlike text descriptions and thumbnail images which are called upon once, showing up in "", the tab names seem to be the actual internal names of the pages, printed out as text. this means that i cant change them without rewriting half of the code for the mod. otherwise, the it will try to load a page which does not exist, and stop working. this is what caused the errors in build 0.1 that i fixed in 0.2 where. i tried my best to get it working, but i decided that since the tab names are such a minor thing, and they don't even say homestuck^2 to begin with, to shelf it for now and focus on actually making the important parts of the mod. i hope you don't mind.

i spent the rest of the day manually downloading every panel up until the start of the start of act 2 and adding them to the manually adding them to assets directory. this took multiple hours. my next goal is to well, actually start making the pages. every single comic page in the comic is coded from a single .json file. it was so big that when i first opened it up it strait up crashed my text editor. its likely going to be a few days of desperately trying to figure out how whoever made the first version set it up, then about a month or 2 of tediously copying pages over. unfortunately i have actual responsibilities to get to, so i may not be able to work on it as much as i did yesterday for a while. ill try to keep posting updates and new builds here when i can.
