yeah i didn't like Jade in JRAW either. or her dynamic with terezi for that matter...the thing with JRAW is i kind of feel like some of the female characters suffer for being ultimately kind of tangential to the main plot and also they don't seem to have as much as the like unpleasant acerbic parts of their personalities in Homestuck proper that would justify like...having character development arcs, in the way JRAW seems to be interested in, to begin with?

or like idk it's like...either what's going on with them feels utterly tangential or feels like theyre just being written to serve john's development and neither is great
