You do not want to pick up the weapon. Even if there was some sort of BOSS you were required to fight, the game is TURN-BASED. It would be fairly simple to go back and >pick-up the WEAPON later.

Instead, you navigate to C4 and check it off as a normal room on your WALL MAP.
