jade harley was like 9/11 for my identity. that girl has changed me. i literally read the comic and changed my name to jade and i'm CIS that is the impact she had on me. she's me. i'm her. for a while she took up 60% of my brain and tbh she still does. i literally would be someone else entirely without that comic. jade harley walked up to me one day and absorbed herself into my being and i just have to live with that.

on a slightly normaler note, the comic's definitely impacted my vocabulary in a big way. not only that and, ok we're getting weird again here, homestuck is among the top echelon of things that have Directly Affected My Inner Monologue (alongside my house of leaves ass introspection and the time i started thinking in maedotmkv's voice that one time) cuz like i just. started thinking in second person. i eventually stopped but sometimes i still do it. though instead it's just me thinking up writing for adventures instead of my NORMAL INNER MONOLOGUE BEING IN THE SECOND PERSON.
