rng is shorthand for the username I used since I was around 8 or 9. It was long and stupid, and eventually I just shortened it to rng. thing is, rng is a very generic "gamer" name (since you know, random number generator, which is apparently a video game thing even though it's generally a computer programming thing and has fucking nothing at its base to do with games). At the beginning of college, I came up with the name malrab (first 3 letters of my name, first 3 letters of my original username), which I liked because idk it just feels like it fit me more. but i'd still been using rng for my music, so I decided to combine to two to look like a full name (Rng Malrab). It's silly and stupid but it's me and I love it.

(On some places, I also go by M. or MFullstop, which was an impulsive decision that I ended up also liking. That's why my nickname here is M. (alrab).)
