You have already been over why you can not just "hack" this, so instead you take the WEIRD KNIFE from earlier and imagine what its stats would hypothetically look like if it was in a video game or something. For some, the durability might seem a bit low, but personally you prefer games where the durability is not "1 durability per use" because that is stupid so the number is actually completely fair.
