page 2114 . tavros attempts and fails to get in her cocoon , but is barred entry by her comically large horns . she is surrounded by the fairy imagery in her room because she likes fairies . what does this mean

simple really : cocoons in normal non troll insects are spun to undergo metamorphasis ; to become their new + true self . the caterpillar into butterfly has been used as trans metaphor for many a year now 💭 tavros being barred entry by her bull horns ( see : male by definition ) = tavros being unable to undergo this metamorphasis because of her masculine horns .

this happens while she is surrounded by troll fairy girls , because she likes them .... but i would now like you to look at your tab or whatever that is open to homestuck and zoom in on some of those fairy girls . get a look at their horns . theyre small yes but they do bear a resemblance to tavroses ... i do not think that is nothing .

tavroses hero is pupa , but her room is covered in these fairy girls ... she could find them very cute in a crush sort of way of course . i do not think that is at all off the table . but i think its worth considering them as a source of gender envy , and tavroses own horns as a source of dysphoria ... food for thought 🍔💭
