I've been on the train of Vrisrezi transcending the quadrants system for some time now. I really feel like the quadrants are at least in part a metaphor for cisheterosexuality, and I think that Vriska and Terezi's relationship is so clearly queer and confounds the quadrants' ability to describe what they feel for each other that you can't just reduce it to the flushed/pale/pitch terminology.
