There is absolutely something you are missing right now. You are constantly scrawling through your memory, trying to figure out what you could have skimmed over. You are pretty sure whatever you last put into the button puzzle was correct, because otherwise this door probably would not be open. Was this door open before you put in that pattern?

You doubt it. H.N. loves repeating patterns more than a lot of other stuff, so the pattern of "do thing door open" is obviously repeating here. Is that even really a pattern, though?
