i'm sorry to god and deniz camp for not participating in the thread last week. while i was asleep at the wheel some good comics snuck their way into shops across the globe!

fraction's batman was one i'd been looking forward to for a while. i don't think it lived up to the hype it took on in my head but i enjoyed it nonetheless. batman's gadgets were cool, and it's always nice to be reminded that the real reason he strikes terror into the hearts of criminals is cause he's a nice guy with a big heart.

the latest issue of spider-man (and even venom!) was like the best we've had in ages cause plot threads from previous stories suddenly matter again. the bar is on the floor but we're stepping over it now instead of tripping on it and eating wicked dirt/pavement.
