Im not reading all these replies but I am just going to point out that homestuck often makes a point around the fact that grooming isn't about "sexual attraction" but is instead based mostly on power. The key example of this is of course Doc Scratch who is undoubtedly a groomer (and if you try to argue otherwise you are stupid) but the point is made that "I am an immortal entity with a large cue ball for a head, and no biological means of reproduction." aka presenting the idea that he isn't capable of sexual attraction and thus isn't creepy/a groomer. This is of course not true, he is a massive fucking creep who grooms countless girls in homestuck but acts of grooming and sexual abuse irl don't usually come from a place of "sexual attraction". I also want to note that from the start of act 6, Dirks character profile was based upon different parts of Doc Scratch's albeit (at the time) less evil.

The way you word your issues with Dirk (clearly) grooming Rose (atleast in the replies I read) illustrates this idea that you don't either don't understand the idea that grooming and incestual abuse is often not based upon sexual attraction IRL and in comic and instead based on exerting power of those under them but also that you don't understand that homestuck usually positions topics of abuse under the lens of the patriarchy, something Dirk as a gay man still benefits from as Rose's father. The story isn't making him predatory because he is a gay man, its because he is a misogynistic man who wants to exert power over his daughter.

As usual I usually fuck up my wording on posts like this but if you need actual concrete examples of how Dirk is emotionally incestuous to Rose please just read ANY of his scenes with her in the Meat epilogue.
