Ly’lac of the Final Applause certainly has an interesting denizen, looking at her choice of browser.
Seth is the god of chaos, of storms, and the desert — most will know him as the guy who killed his brother Osiris to become ruler of Egypt, and who had to contend with Osiris’ son Horus making his own bid for the throne. All in all a seemingly antagonistic figure, as numerous myths about him would attest.
But there’s also a positive side to
Seth as well — he is the loyal defender of the sun god Ra. Day in and day out he protects the solar barge in its journey, driving back the all-devouring chaos serpent Apep and preventing it from devouring Ra (which would have apocalyptic ramifications; imagine what would happen if the sun went out permanently).
And will we let the fire go out?
Is this the end for them now?
Sunken ship that has long gone down
Will we let the fire go.. out?
