It's truly amazing, in a tragic way, how many people in this thread either were so caught up in the Twitter Drama Us V.S. Them Mindset, or lacked some combination of basic empathy and basic reading comprehension to process that this is the personal story of a guy who's had heaps of vitriol slung at him for 24 hours, and not a "gotcha! Gio is wrong and im gonna prove that we're the Good Guys!!!". Particularly when he outright says it's not an official response. Come on guys.

(particularly that guy who started criticizing the lack of capitalization. like... really? is that where we're at?)

That being said, I know I'm late, but thank you for speaking on this, Miles. I can't say I would've blamed you if you had wanted to be as far from the fandom as possible at the moment, so I appreciate you giving your experience. Wishing well to you and everyone else affected by this.
