This is actually a very compelling what if. I think, for starters, the grape flavor is bound to awaken some inner rage and possibly cause Gamzee to snap sooner than in the original comic. I believe that, with him snapping sooner, Tavros is bound to calm him down and sorta take Karkat's spot as his Moirail.
