Props to you for being the brave prog poster. I saw a Pink Floyd cover band play through DSOTM on a beautiful day in the park and it was pretty god damn sick. Anyways, I was never really a big Yes fan- more of a King Crimson kind of gal. But everyone knows King Crimson so:

I fucking LOVED black midi for the short little run they had. It’s unfortunate they disbanded relatively quickly but I guess being ephemeral is on-brand for proggy groups. The frontman does his own stuff, but it’s sort of like Serj’s solo stuff to SOAD in my opinion. It’s the sum of its parts. Anyways, give their album Hellfire a try if you haven’t already and like this. It’s a super fun record.
