i've been getting into Pynchon lately to get a little more familiar before his new novel drops next month. he really does deserve the status he's got--The Crying of Lot 49 is just fantastic.
also, i nabbed a copy of Borges' collected fictions last year and have been very slowly chewing through it and it's just astounding how good every single one of his stories is. cannot recommend enough for absolutely anyone interested in postmodernism
