Tablestuck is a Homestuck inspired TTRPG primarily played over Discord that leverages an internet medium to create unique and interesting gameplay. With a mechanical focus on building synergies between a character's innate talents and equipment, Tablestuck features an Echeladder system with a unique track of abilities for every Class and Aspect combination, and a robust modular Alchemy system inspired by Homestuck's Captchalogue Codes that allows for a near limitless number of possible items.
At this time Tablestuck is primarily played using Google Docs and Google Sheets, and the most recent version of the game is linked above. With FRAF's support we intend to use this opportunity to develop our own hosting architecture for our Game Materials to improve the game experienced for both our Players and Douche Magicians (DM). Now that I will have the opportunity to support a paid developer team, we intend to build a Discord Bot Application that can be easily self hosted by DMs using an Electron Application to help automate as much or as little of their Tablestuck sessions as they'd like, as well as build a Web Application to host Character Sheets and Play entirely within a browser without the need of third party applications or services. We might even get the opportunity to make physical play materials for the game at some point in the future, which would finally bring us full circle on the name "Tablestuck" after 6 years of being played almost exclusively digitally, but only time will tell. We are extremely grateful and excited for this opportunity and hope to do our best to make Tablestuck the best version of itself it can be.
If you're interested in playing Tablestuck now, I'd recommend joining our Discord Server linked above and checking out our Sub-forum in the FRAF Forums. Additionally, we will be releasing supporter exclusive content on our Patreon, also linked above along with early access to the tools I've described above we intend to develop once they are in a playable state.
We sincerely appreciate all the support we've had from our fans over the years, and anyone new who finds us through FRAF and is interested in sticking around.
