The humanity which powers engines like capital is gone, and all that seems to turn up where it once was is more and more violence in the name of preserving a life she no longer wants.
Beset on all sides by her expected adulthood being pulled from beneath her, she's hastily reconstructing herself into someone she can tolerate being, while mapping out the hole left behind by the deceased heroine who incidentally saved her life.
